WQE College in Leicester is seeking a self-motivated Welfare and Skills team member to support students with welfare and mental health needs and to contribute to safeguarding efforts. The post is permanent, full-time, term-time, commencing as soon as possible, with a salary on the SFCA support pay spine.

Salary banding 11–14 (£28,634 to £31,324 per annum, pro rata). Actual starting salary £24,854, negotiable with experience.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum of 2 A Levels and English and Maths qualifications.
• Experience of working with young people in a setting with administration and confidential duties is essential.
• Desirable: experience in an educational environment.

The College operates across two closely located campuses, next to the University of Leicester on University Road and a smaller campus at Regent Road. We are looking to appoint a self‑motivated and enthusiastic addition to support our Welfare and Skills team to develop and co‑ordinate support for students with welfare and mental health difficulties, along with being a member of the college safeguarding team. The successful candidate will need to hold a minimum of 2 A Levels, along with English and Maths qualifications. Previous experience of working with young people with administration and confidential capacity are essential along with experience in an educational environment being desirable. For our part we shall make every effort to support our new colleagues in making the best of the professional opportunities offered by this post. This is a permanent full‑time, term‑time post commencing as soon as possible with a competitive salary on the SFCA support pay spine.

Salary banding for this post will be 11 – 14 which ranges from £28,634 to £31,324 per annum (pro rata). The actual starting salary for this post is £24,854 but may be negotiated based on experience.
