Job summary

Q3 Academy Tipton is seeking a positive, energetic Lunchtime Engagement Leader to help create a safe, engaging lunchtime experience. You will supervise students, promote constructive behaviour, and support wellbeing while encouraging participation in clubs and activities.

Successful applicants will work as part of a team, maintaining calm leadership during lunchtimes and assisting with pupils moving between lessons. Prior experience with young people is desirable.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work calmly, be approachable and professional.
• Experience in supervising groups of students is desirable.
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime in outdoor spaces and activity zones.
• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in line with academy policies.
• Encourage participation in organised games, clubs and enrichment activities.
• Build positive relationships with students and support their wellbeing.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
• Support the smooth movement of students between lunch and afternoon lessons.
