Job summary

The Mercian Trust is seeking a dedicated Lunchtime Engagement Leader for AtQ3 Academy Tipton to supervise students during lunch, encourage participation in activities and promote positive behaviour. The role focuses on creating a safe, engaging lunchtime experience aligned with the academy’s values, safeguarding commitments and school routines.

We value energetic, reliable individuals who can build positive relationships with students and work well within a team to support wellbeing and smooth

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Confident supervising groups of students.
• Previous experience with young people is desirable but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students during lunchtime in outdoor spaces and designated activity zones.
• Promote positive behaviour and high expectations in line with academy policies.
• Encourage participation in organised games, clubs and enrichment activities.
• Build positive relationships with students and support their wellbeing.
• Assist in maintaining a safe and orderly environment.
• Support the smooth movement of students between lunch and afternoon lessons.
