Job summary

One Sixth Form College in Ipswich is seeking a proactive Student Liaison Officer to join our Welfare Team. You will patrol the site, engage positively with staff, students and visitors, and promote positive student behaviour.

The role provides staff and students with the support, guidance and supervision they need, and you will help resolve conflicts as they arise. First Aid at Work is advantageous and training can be provided.

Qualifications

• Friendly and proactive approach to promoting positive student behaviour.
• Organised and responsible with welfare duties.
• First Aid at Work qualification is advantageous but training can be provided.

Responsibilities

• Act as duty officer, patrolling the site and engaging with staff, students and visitors.
• Provide support, guidance and supervision to staff and students and resolve conflicts when needed.
