Job summary

Capital City College is seeking a Welfare Adviser to support student welfare, provide practical and pastoral guidance, and help learners access financial support, working within a collaborative, supportive team.

The role includes assessing eligibility for funding, processing applications, advising on funding options, and building strong links with local authorities and service providers to assist students in need.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy and efficiency.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Confidence working with systems and processes, including experience in analysing and interpreting data.
• A proactive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt.
• Experience in liaising with external agencies, including local authorities, social services, and support organisations.
