Job summary

Education Supply Pool is recruiting Student Teachers to work on a supply basis in Caerphilly and surrounding areas, supporting your teaching qualification. You should be on course for QTS/PGCE/BA Education and have at least 3 months classroom experience in a UK school.

As a valued ESP participant you’ll earn a minimum of £125 per day, with a simple PAYE payroll and no time sheets. There are daily, short-term and long-term placements to suit your schedule, with vetting including enhanced DBS

Qualifications

• Must be on course to obtain QTS, a PGCE or a BA in Education.
• Minimum 3 months of teaching in a UK primary or secondary school.
• Ability to manage challenging behaviour and maintain discipline.
• Plan innovative lessons aligned to the curriculum and Education and Training.
• Liaise with staff to deliver curriculum and assess pupils.
• Inspire and motivate pupils.

Education Supply Pool is a PAYE Employer recruiting for Student Teacher’s to begin work in Caerphilly and their surrounding areas on a supply basis immediately.

Supply work is ideal for those wanting to experience different schools, for those wanting to retain flexibility around their work and those wanting to sharpen their skills before embarking on a more permanent placement.

Holding a Valid UK driver's license would increase opportunities for work

The successful candidate:

• Are you on course to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), a PGCE or a BA in Education?
• Have a minimum 3-month experience of teaching within a UK Primary or Secondary School,
• Be able to deal with challenging behaviour and maintain discipline,
• Plan innovative and creative lessons with the correct Education and Training
• Liaise with other staff members to deliver curriculum,
• Maintain necessary assessment of pupils,
• Be able to inspire and motivate pupils

As a valued member of ESP, you’ll receive:

• A minimum pay rate of at least M1 (Currently £125 per day)
• A £125 recommend a friend scheme
• A variety of daily, short-term, and long-term positions to suit your needs,
• No need for completion of time sheets,
• Pay via PAYE direct through Education Supply Pool and not an umbrella company.
