Job summary

University of York is seeking a Business Analyst to join the Student Systems team. The role focuses on the configuration, development and maintenance of the SITS student record system and related integrations.

You will lead requirements elicitation, analyse processes and data flows, validate solutions with stakeholders, and support UAT and service transition across a busy programme supporting students from application to graduation.

Qualifications

• Sound understanding of the student lifecycle and data principles.
• Experience leading business analysis activities with diverse stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with data interpretation.
• Clear communication in verbal and written formats.
• Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities.
• A Level 3 qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead requirements elicitation and validate solutions with stakeholders.
• Support user acceptance testing (UAT) and service transition.
