Bolton St Catherine's Academy is seeking a dedicated Cover Supervisor to support learning when teaching staff are absent, delivering planned lessons and assisting pupils aged 11-16 in a vibrant environment.

This permanent, term-time-plus-2-days role offers a clear CPD pathway, competitive pay (£24,419.64–£26,918.64 actual), 37 hours per week, and opportunities to contribute to student wellbeing and behaviour within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience working with children aged 11-16 in an education setting.
• Strong teamwork and effective communication with pupils, parents and staff.
• Commitment to supporting the progress and wellbeing of pupils with special needs.
• Ability to build rapport with students and colleagues.
• Willingness to work flexibly to meet role demands.

Responsibilities

• Supervise students and support learning when staff are absent.
• Deliver lessons planned by Heads of Department and assist students.
• Maintain good order within the school behaviour framework.
• Contribute to break and lunchtime supervision.
