Job summary

St Piers, part of Young Epilepsy, is seeking a Student Support Worker for our Lingfield school. You will assist students with learning activities and contribute to their records, working within a multidisciplinary team to promote independence and wellbeing. This role is term-time only (39 weeks) with full-time positions available where possible.

Experience is not essential; a passion for helping young people with SEND is valued, along with strong communication and adaptable work practices.

Qualifications

• Experience is not essential; we look for people who share the same great qualities as our existing Student Support Workers.
• Demonstrated ability to engage with young people and support learning.

Responsibilities

• Support students across the educational setting with 1:1 and group learning activities.
• Contribute to student records and reports with teachers and specialist staff.
• Assist with meetings and administration related to student welfare and learning.
