Job summary

Christ the King Voluntary Academy in Arnold is seeking a dedicated role to engage students across all age groups and abilities, including those with SEN and behavioural needs. You will support teachers, help plan interventions, and promote pupil well-being within a caring school community.

The role is permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only, offering a competitive salary and extensive CPD opportunities within Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Multi-Academy Trust.

Qualifications

• You will have a talent for engaging students.
• Able to work across all age groups and abilities.
• Experience supporting diverse needs including SEN and behavioural support.

Responsibilities

• Be caring and supportive, and committed to achieving excellent results.
• Support the Teachers to enthuse our students, inspiring their learning and progress.
• Assist with the planning, differentiation and preparation of intervention strategies.
• Promote the well-being of our student’s providing guidance and support.
• Establish supportive relationships with pupils, allowing them to feel valued and listened to and encouraging questions and ideas.
• Provide support for leaning activities and monitor their effectiveness.
