Job summary

Foxford School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Student Support Facilitator) to provide academic and pastoral support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs. The role includes a focus on behaviour support and cover for lessons when teachers are absent.

You will work 30.5 hours per week for 39 weeks per year, during school hours, with a comprehensive induction and staff wellbeing support.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and dedicated professional to join our team at Foxford School as a Teaching Assistant, (Student Support Facilitator). In this role you will be providing academic and pastoral support to specific students or groups of students within the school, some of whom will have Special Educational Needs. You will provide a specialism in behaviour support to enable our students to achieve their best, as well as covering for lessons when teachers are absent.

You should already have experience of working with children and have an understanding of how to motivate students to learn. You should have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.
