Job summary

Foxford School is seeking a Teaching Assistant (Student Support Facilitator) to provide academic and pastoral support to students, including those with Special Educational Needs. The role includes a focus on behaviour support and cover for lessons when teachers are absent.

You will work 30.5 hours per week for 39 weeks per year, during school hours, with a comprehensive induction and staff wellbeing support.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Ability to motivate students to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

• Provide academic and pastoral support to specific students or groups within the school.
• Cover lessons when teachers are absent.
• Specialism in behaviour support to help students achieve their best.
