Job summary

Foxford School, part of Castle Phoenix Trust, is seeking a Student Support Facilitator to provide academic and pastoral support within a busy school environment. The role emphasises behaviour support and strong student relationships.

You will work 30.5 hours per week during term time (plus 5 training days), 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday, with a focus on SEN needs and supporting teaching staff in delivering lessons.

Qualifications

• Experience of working with children.
• Understanding of how to motivate students to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build positive relationships with students, parents and staff.

Responsibilities

In this role you will be providing academic and pastoral support to specific students or groups of students within the school, some of whom will have Special Educational Needs. You will provide a specialism in behaviour support to enable our students to achieve their best, as well as covering for lessons when teachers are absent.You should already have experience of working with children and have an understanding of how to motivate students to learn.
