Highfield Littleport Academy in Cambridgeshire is seeking a Student Support Assistant to join our specialist 2-19 school, supporting pupils with complex needs to feel safe, confident and ready to participate in school life.

You will provide personal care and medical support in line with EHCPs and assist with pupil safety and inclusion, working with teachers to ensure high-quality care and support for pupils.

  • Assist with specialist care programmes, such as physiotherapy or hydrotherapy, under professional guidance.
  • Maintain accurate records and follow safeguarding, health and safety, and confidentiality procedures.
  • Work closely with teachers and colleagues to ensure consistent, high-quality care and support for pupils.

Location: Highfield Littleport Academy, Littleport, Cambridgeshire

Contract: Part Time, Permanent

Working Pattern: 20 hours per week, 39 weeks per year, Monday - Friday 10:15am - 2:15pm

Salary: ALT Grade C, £25,816 - £26,016, (Actual Salary £11,949.53 - £12,042.11)

We are looking for a Student Support Assistant to join Highfield Littleport Academy, a specialist 2-19 school in Cambridgeshire, supporting pupils with complex needs to feel safe, confident and ready to take part in school life. Working closely with teachers and specialist colleagues, the role centres on providing thoughtful personal care, medical support and practical assistance in line with pupils’ EHCPs and care plans.
