Job summary

Hills Road Sixth Form College is recruiting a Learning Support Mentor on a two-year fixed-term, part-time basis (29.5 hours per week, term-time only) with a start date in October 2026. The role focuses on helping students access A-level courses through one-to-one mentoring, group workshops, and resource signposting, including SEND support.

You will work with a flexible, positive approach and be supported with training and induction by a dedicated Study Skills team.

Qualifications

• Support SEND students to access A-level courses via mentoring and group sessions.
• Maintain clear professional boundaries and a flexible, person-centred approach.

Responsibilities

• Provide one-to-one mentoring to students.
• Deliver group workshops and signpost to resources.
• Offer occasional in-class support as required.
