Job summary

Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking a Student Content Creator to design engaging social media videos and stories that showcase student life in Cardiff and life at the university.

You will contribute by producing content, collaborating with teams, and attending campus and external events to capture authentic experiences for prospective students. Previous video production experience and familiarity with popular social platforms are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience producing creative social media video content.
• Ability to film and edit short form videos for social channels.
• Familiarity with main platforms used by prospective students.

Responsibilities

• Create and contribute to social media content showing life at Cardiff Met.
• Pitch and develop content ideas with Marketing, Communications and Student Recruitment teams.
• Assist filming and editing of short form video content, on/off camera.
