Job summary

Manchester Metropolitan University is seeking a part-time Event Assistant and Social Media Content Creator to support the MSA Collective during the Oct 2026–Jul 2027 period in the UK. The role involves designing social content, photography and videography at exhibitions and main events, plus pre-event prep and on-site branding.

You will work up to 2–3 hours per week aligned with event schedules and creative briefs.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Familiarity with motion graphics and video production for social media.
• Basic photography, videography and video editing for event documentation.
• Familiarity with visual branding strategies of MSA Collective.
• Experience and interest in preparation and organising events.

Responsibilities

• Graphic design of social media posts, promotional material, short motion graphics and videos.
• Posting produced content on social media channels.
• Graphic design of posters, brochures, and handbooks.
• Photography and videography at events (basic editing).
• Overseeing printing and installation of posters and exhibition materials.
• Assisting with event preparation, delivery and branding.
