Job summary

Victoria College of Arts and Design is seeking a Student Services Lead Officer for our Manchester campus. The role will lead student services activities, delivering high-quality support throughout the academic journey while collaborating with the Head of Student Experience and Outcomes.

You will remotely oversee teams in Manchester and Leeds, with occasional campus visits. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills, with experience in higher

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.
• Demonstrated experience managing and mentoring a team, across multiple locations.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong IT skills, including Excel and familiarity with student management systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and develop officers within the Student Services Department to provide exceptional, student-centred services.
• Coordinate daily operations of the Student Services Department for efficient service delivery.
• Design and implement communication strategies to inform students of updates, term dates and events.
• Provide support and guidance to team members in complex cases and ensure timely escalation.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with information disclosure regulations.
