Goldington Academy in London is seeking a Student Services Assistant to provide medical, pastoral and administrative support to pupils throughout the school day. You will support students who are unwell or injured, arrange first aid, administer medication in line with procedures, and liaise with parents and staff to ensure appropriate care.
You will help maintain medical records, monitor health plans, manage the medical room and supplies, and assist with safeguarding and daily operations.
The post of Student Services Assistant is a varied and rewarding role that provides medical, pastoral and administrative support to students throughout the school day. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting students who are unwell or injured, arranging first aid as necessary, administering medication in accordance with school procedures, and liaising with parents and staff to ensure students receive appropriate care and support.
The role also involves maintaining accurate medical records, monitoring healthcare plans, managing the medical room and first aid supplies, and providing administrative support to the wider school when required. The Student Services Assistant plays a key role in promoting student wellbeing, safeguarding and ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of student services.
It is important for the successful candidate to be:

A current First Aid qualification is desirable, although training can be provided for the right candidate.
