Job summary

onlyFE is seeking a Safeguarding Intervention Worker to join the Student Support and Engagement team. You will provide timely, student-centred safeguarding interventions and coordinate referrals with external agencies to protect the welfare of students.

Working with the Safeguarding Lead and others, you will help ensure safeguarding compliance, deliver early help, and promote a safe, inclusive environment where students can thrive and achieve their potential.

Qualifications

• Experience in a support role with children, young people and families.
• Understanding of safeguarding legislation, thresholds and procedures.
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and external agencies.

Responsibilities

• Provide timely safeguarding interventions and appropriate referrals.
• Support students with emotional and practical needs while coordinating with external services.
• Share information with partners in line with LSBC/LSAB procedures.
• Contribute to safeguarding awareness and best practice across the college.
