Job summary

Queensway School in Telford is seeking a calm, resilient Enhanced Student Support Lead to coordinate high-quality pastoral and academic support for pupils educated away from the school site or returning after suspension.

You will monitor attendance, welfare and safety, arrange learning materials, contribute to reviews, and maintain case records, while working across families, staff, placement providers and professionals to secure safe reintegration.

Qualifications

• Experience of supporting children or young people, including those with complex or additional needs.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate high-quality pastoral and academic support for pupils, including those on external placements.
• Monitor attendance, welfare, safety, engagement and academic continuity.
• Arrange learning materials, maintain case records and review progress.
