Job summary

Aspire People is seeking a Student Teacher on a part-time basis to gain practical classroom experience in UK primary schools while studying.

You will support teachers, work with pupils 1:1 and in small groups, help with reading, phonics, maths and English, and assist with classroom routines. This role offers flexible hours around university commitments and potential for future education career progression.

Qualifications

• Currently studying towards a teaching, education, childhood or related qualification.
• Looking to gain practical experience alongside studies.
• Passionate about working with children.
• Patient, enthusiastic and approachable.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable and professional.
• Previous experience working with children is desirable but not essential.
• Interested in developing a future career within education.
