Job summary

The Manchester College, part of the LTE Group, invites applications for an Employability, Partnership Co-ordinator at our Openshaw campus in Manchester. The role is permanent, full-time (35 hours/week) and focuses on building employer relationships, coordinating student work placements and ensuring robust tracking and compliance processes.

Ideal candidates will have strong business development experience, a passion for supporting young people, and the ability to manage multiple partnerships with

Qualifications

  • GSCE or Level 2 in literacy or numeracy (or equivalent).
  • Experience delivering qualifications, education or employability sessions.
  • Experience delivering group work and 1-2-1 sessions.
  • Experience developing external relationships with employers and agencies.
  • Experience using computerised management information systems.
  • Experience working to targets with monitoring/recording systems.
  • Experience delivering soft skills, mentoring and employability programmes.
  • Organised and self-motivated with good communication skills.
  • Evidence of teamwork and collaboration.
  • Willingness to continuous personal development.
  • Must have access to a car and full driving licence.

Responsibilities

  • Build and manage multiple employer relationships.
  • Arrange and oversee student work experience and industry placements.
  • Maintain tracking and compliance processes to a high standard.
  • Engage with employers, stakeholders and educational partners to establish partnerships.
