Job summary

Cummins is seeking an enthusiastic Customer Support student to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning at our Redditch site. This placement year offers insight into how a major global organization operates and the tools needed to become an industry expert.

The role commences Summer 2027 and is available to placement-year students. You’ll be onsite part of the week and must be able to travel or relocate to Redditch.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Business, Customer Service, Management, or Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with enquiries relating to orders, deliveries, products, and account information.
• Monitor and manage customer cases, ensuring timely updates and resolution.
• Work closely with Sales, Supply Chain, Logistics, and other internal departments to support customer needs.
• Assist with order tracking and communication of delivery updates.
• Help maintain accurate customer records and documentation.
• Support reporting activities and analyse customer service trends where required.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives to enhance the customer experience.
• Participate in team meetings, projects, and continuous improvement activities.
