University Hospitals Dorset NHS Foundation Trust is offering a Student Nursing Associate role. This developmental post enables you to undertake the Nursing Associate Training Programme while gaining clinical experience across diverse healthcare settings.

You will work toward a Level 5 Foundation Degree and progression to a registered Nursing Associate, supported by supervisors. The role blends clinical practice, academic study and placement learning to develop leadership and nursing process

Qualifications

• GCSEs in Maths and English at grade C or equivalent.
• Full NVQ Level 3/BTEC or equivalent/A Levels.
• Care Certificate.

Responsibilities

• The Nursing Associate apprenticeship programme combines and integrates both academic and work-based learning.
• A Student Nursing Associate will be based in a specific setting, but will gain experience in other settings.
• The post holder will work towards a nationally recognised code of conduct and a Foundation Degree.
