Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd in West London is seeking a Student Mentor to support pupils aged 16–19 with their academic progress, behaviour, and personal development. You will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence and stay engaged in education.

You will provide 1:1 and small group mentoring, work with teaching staff and SENCO, and focus on confidence, resilience and goal setting while tracking progress and maintaining positive relationships.

Qualifications

  • Experience working with young people in educational, youth work or coaching settings.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills are essential.
  • Ability to build rapport with challenging or disengaged students.

Responsibilities

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated and empathetic

Student Mentor to support pupils across 16 - 19 yrs old's with their academic progress, behaviour, and personal development.

You will play a key role in helping students overcome barriers to learning, build confidence, and stay engaged in education.

About You

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to build rapport with challenging or disengaged students
  • Patient, resilient, and proactive
  • Passionate about supporting young people to succeed
  • Experience in SEN, SEMH, or alternative provision
  • Background in psychology, youth work, or education
  • Behaviour management training
