Job summary

University of Suffolk is seeking a Student Life Adviser to be the friendly first point of contact for visitors, students and staff in Ipswich. The role is full time (37 hours per week) on a 1.0 FTE basis, band 3, with a salary of £28,778 to £32,080 (FTE).

You will deliver accurate information and guidance across a range of topics, handling enquiries with professionalism, ensuring an inclusive and supportive student experience.

Qualifications

• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience dealing with a range of customers in a busy environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Be the frontline point of contact providing information and guidance to visitors, prospective and current students, and staff.
• Deliver accurate, inclusive and timely information, advice and guidance across a wide range of topics.
• Support the Student Centre and Reception in day-to-day operations.
