Job summary

West Dean is seeking a part-time Residential Services Coordinator to oversee the administration of student accommodation on campus in West Sussex. The role handles room allocations, arrivals and departures, and maintains accurate records to support a welcoming environment for Higher Education students.

You will work with teams across Student Welcome, Housekeeping, Building Maintenance, Finance and Academic and Student Services to ensure rooms are prepared, information is up to date and enquiries

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, customer service, accommodation or comparable operational role.
• Experience of maintaining accurate records and responding to enquiries.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administration of student accommodation, including room allocations, arrivals, departures, room changes, residential records and accommodation documentation.
• Act as a friendly first contact for routine residential enquiries, providing clear information and practical support to students.
• Collaborate with Housekeeping, Building Maintenance, Finance and Academic and Student Services to keep accommodation information accurate and up to date.
• Support accommodation charges, inspections, inventories and maintenance reporting.
• Assist with the smooth coordination of busy arrival and departure periods.
• Follow issues through to resolution and elevate when appropriate to the Front Desk & Residential Services Manager.
