Job summary

Homes for Students is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join our Lincoln team. This 40-hour-per-week role runs 9:00am–5:30pm, Monday to Friday, delivering planned and reactive maintenance across our properties and ensuring statutory compliance.

You will work with minimal supervision, report faults promptly, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and help maintain high standards of customer service and property condition. Previous multi-trade maintenance experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience in property maintenance within a similar environment or trained in a trade and able to work across multiple trades.
• Knowledge of safe working methods including COSHH and manual handling.
• Awareness of health and safety requirements.

Responsibilities

• Carry out planned and reactive maintenance within the properties.
• Ensure statutory compliance is maintained at all times.
• Maintain property condition and report/respond to issues.
• Liaise with suppliers and contractors and work with minimal supervision.
• Drive high-quality customer experience through timely fault resolution and property upkeep.
