Homes for Students in London is seeking a Maintenance Operative to join Wood Lane Studios. The role covers planned and reactive maintenance across the property, ensuring statutory compliance and high standards of the building.

You will work with minimal supervision, liaise with suppliers and contractors, and contribute to a fast, quality service for reported faults. A background in property maintenance and strong safety awareness are essential.

Qualifications

• Previous property maintenance experience in a similar environment.
• Knowledge of safe working practices, COSHH and manual handling.
• Strong health and safety awareness and legal requirements.
• Excellent customer care and ability to keep stakeholders informed.
• Good organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prioritise workload and work with minimal supervision.
• Proactive, with initiative to resolve issues quickly.
• Team player with flexible approach.
