Job summary

UPP Ltd in Plymouth is seeking a part-time Cleaner to join our student accommodation team. The role is 25 hours per week, 9:30 to 14:30, Monday to Friday, with a salary of £16,930.65 per annum.

You will clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas and may be asked to assist with summer duties and laundry collection. We value communication, attention to detail, and the ability to read and follow Health & Safety guidance.

Qualifications

• Experience cleaning in a similar environment.
• Good spoken and written English.
• Ability to read and follow Health & Safety guidance.

Responsibilities

• Clean designated areas for student accommodation including bedrooms, bathrooms, showers and kitchens.
• Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets, sweep and polish floors, clean stairs.
• Wash walls, doors, furniture, radiators and lampshades as appropriate.
• Empty waste bins and remove rubbish to bin stores.
• Laundered linen collection and laundry bagging during summer.
• Daily liaison with residents, Residence Managers and UPP staff.
• Act in accordance with Health & Safety policies at all times.
