Job summary

UPP Ltd in the UK is hiring a Cleaner for a permanent role, 30 hours per week, 9:00–15:15, Monday to Friday, in student accommodation. You will clean bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and common areas, vacuum carpets, wash walls and windows when needed, and handle waste.

Candidates should have cleaning experience in a similar setting, strong English communication and organisational skills, good attention to detail, and be willing to work at other sites and during peak arrival weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience of cleaning in a similar environment.
• Good communication and organisation skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Ability to read and interpret Health & Safety guidance.

Responsibilities

• Clean bedrooms, bathrooms, shower rooms, kitchens and all white goods in kitchens.
• Vacuum, spot clean and shampoo carpets, sweep and polish floors, clean stairs.
• Wash walls, doors, furniture, radiators and lampshades where appropriate.
• Empty waste bins and remove rubbish from flats to bin stores.
• Make beds in summer term and collect laundered linen.
• Clean internal and external windows where applicable.
• Daily liaison with residents, Residence Managers and UPP staff.
• Comply with Health & Safety policies at all times.
