Philosophy Education LTD. invites applications for a Medical Officer & Attendance Support at an independent SEMH school in England. The role combines medical/welfare support with attendance monitoring and admin, ensuring students receive care, medications are managed safely and attendance concerns are followed up.

The successful candidate will collaborate with families, school staff and external healthcare professionals to promote safety, wellbeing and engagement in education.

Responsabilidades

• Provide first aid and respond to medical incidents and emergencies.
• Support students with medical conditions and healthcare needs.
• Administer and manage medication; maintain accurate records.
• Develop, implement and review Individual Healthcare Plans with professionals and families.
• Monitor attendance, investigate absences and follow up concerns.
• Liaise with parents, carers, healthcare professionals and external agencies.
• Coordinate vaccinations and medical appointments.
• Ensure medical needs are considered in educational visits and activities.
• Advise and support colleagues on medical and welfare needs.
• Maintain medical supplies and first-aid equipment.
• Keep records accurate and confidential.
