Job summary

North Kent College Group is seeking a dynamic Enrichment & Engagement Officer to develop, coordinate and deliver an inclusive enrichment programme across our colleges. You’ll create opportunities that build confidence, employability and life skills for students.

Qualifications

  • Experience of working with young people or students in an education, youth, community or similar setting.
  • Experience of planning and delivering activities, events or programmes.
  • Level 2 English and Maths (Grade 5 or above) and a First Aid at Work qualification or willingness to undertake First Aid training.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver an exciting, inclusive programme of enrichment activities, clubs, events and student-led opportunities.
  • Create opportunities that build confidence, resilience, employability and life skills.
  • Work with curriculum and support teams to expand and diversify enrichment across the College.
  • Engage students through sports, volunteering, fundraising, social action and other activities.
  • Listen to student feedback and use it to improve participation and the enrichment offer.
  • Build partnerships with employers, charities, community and sports organisations.
  • Promote the College’s Enrichment brand and encourage students to get involved.
  • Support College events and ensure all activities are safe, inclusive and accessible.

We’re looking for acreative, proactive and enthusiastic individual with experience of working withyoung people or students in an education, youth, community or similar setting,and experience of planning and delivering activities, events or programmes.You’ll have excellent organisational and communication skills, with the abilityto build positive relationships with students, colleagues and externalpartners. You’ll be flexible, hands on and solutions-focused, with a genuinecommitment to inclusion, student voice and personal development. You’ll alsohave Level 2 English and Maths (Grade 5 or above) and a First Aid at Work qualificationor be willing to undertake First Aid training.
