Job summary

BIMM University is seeking a Student Events and Engagement Officer to support student life at the Brighton campus. You will coordinate a campus programme of events and engagement activities, ensuring students feel informed and involved across the university.

Responsibilities include planning, logistics, on-the-day support and promoting events via digital channels. A flexible approach and ability to work evenings or out-of-hours events are valued.

Qualifications

• Experience in administrative, events, engagement or customer-facing role.
• Strong organisational skills and ability to manage priorities.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to support occasional evening or out-of-hours events.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and deliver campus events and engagement activities.
• Assist with Welcome activities, student showcases and campus events.
• Coordinate logistics including venues, registrations and communications.
• Provide on-the-day event support to ensure a positive student experience.
• Maintain records of attendance, resources and feedback.
• Support event promotion and update local webpages and social channels.
• Work with student reps and focus groups to support student voice.
• Gather feedback to inform future activity.
