Job description

The Student Check In Runner position in Leicester involves welcoming new residents and supporting their arrival at multiple accommodation sites. Working on a temporary, ad-hoc basis for roughly one week from Monday 7th September 2026, you will earn between £13.00 and £13.58 per hour. Your main responsibilities include carrying luggage from vehicles to rooms, answering queries from students and their families, and ensuring each check-in proceeds without delay. This role suits someone approachable, physically capable, and comfortable with shifting schedules. Prior experience in customer service is beneficial but not essential, as full guidance is provided. You will work across various locations, so reliable transport and flexibility with daily hours are necessary.

The Role

Important Information

This role involves a lot of walking, standing and lifting/carrying luggage, so you must be comfortable with being active throughout your shift. The initial requirement starts on 7th September for approximately one week, with the possibility of additional ad-hoc shifts in between and following the initial week.
