Job summary

Pertemps Loughborough Commercial seeks friendly and reliable Student Check-In Runners to assist with student arrivals across multiple accommodation sites in Loughborough. You will help move luggage, welcome students and families, and answer general queries in a fast-paced environment.

The role is temporary/ad-hoc, with shifts across various sites and a pay rate of £13.58 per hour. Start date is 7th September 2026, for approximately 1 week, with potential ad-hoc opportunities beyond this period.

Qualifications

• Friendly, approachable and confident when dealing with students and the public
• Reliable and punctual
• Physically fit and comfortable being on your feet for long periods
• Willing to lift and carry luggage
• Flexible and available for ad-hoc shifts when required

Responsibilities

• Assist students with luggage on arrival at various accommodation sites
• Move luggage between vehicles, reception areas and student accommodation
• Answer general queries from students and families
• Support the wider check-in team during busy arrival periods
• Keep communal areas clear and tidy
• Provide a friendly and helpful service across multiple sites in Loughborough
