Job summary

Brinsbury is seeking a Progression Plus Advisor to provide careers information, advice and guidance to students during term-time. You will support learners in their progression to higher education, employment, apprenticeships and more, delivering both 1:1 and group sessions.

You will work with college staff and local employers to arrange work experience and participate in national and local initiatives. The role supports flexible working arrangements and requires a commitment to student success.

Qualifications

• Experience providing advice advice and guidance to students within an educational setting on a 1:1 and group basis.
• Proven customer service and organisational skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of people at all levels (both verbal and written).

Responsibilities

• Provide vital careers information, advice, and guidance to students.
• Support students in their progression into higher education, employment, apprenticeships and more.
• Work with a wide variety of stakeholders both within the college community and amongst local businesses to facilitate work experience and support national and local initiatives.
