Job summary

Gordano School invites applications for an Attendance Team role to support student attendance through administrative duties and welfare support. The successful candidate will assist the Student Services Centre, managing First Aid and on-site medication access while upholding safeguarding protocols.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
• Previous experience of working as part of a team.
• An ability to make sound and logical judgments in decision making.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle emotional and distressed situations with tact, sensitivity and diplomacy.
• An ability to stay calm and to use a measured, informed approach in pressured situations.

Responsibilities

• Support student attendance and welfare through administration and clerical duties.
• Assist the Student Services Centre in an effective and positive manner and support student health and welfare through First Aid administration and onsite medication access.
• Fulfill safeguarding responsibilities and complete regular training updates on safeguarding protocols.
