Job summary

Gordano School, part of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership, invites applications for a Lead First Aider with some Student Centre Receptionist and Attendance Administration duties. This term-time role plus 5 INSET days offers 34.5 hours per week, starting at 8.30am, with a pro-rata actual annual salary up to £31,243.

The successful candidate will provide first aid, support student welfare, manage attendance records, and assist with reception duties.

The Role

We are looking for a motivated and positive individual to support the health and welfare of the students through the administration of first aid and undertake a specific range of duties which support the management of the school.

The successful candidate will have:

• Experience gained through time employed in a similar role
• Excellent communication skills
• A good level of ICT skills
• The ability to stay calm under pressure

It is important that applicants recognise the safeguarding responsibilities that all adults in schools hold, and the checks that are needed to allow all adults in school communities to work there. The role will involve contact with students in the school, and the successful applicant will need to fully understand, and undertake regular training updates on, our safeguarding protocols and how to report on these if needed.
