Job summary

Gordano School, part of the Lighthouse Schools Partnership, is seeking an enthusiastic Attendance Team member to support student attendance and welfare across the school. The role includes administration for attendance, coordinating the Student Services Centre, and assisting with First Aid and on-site medication access.

The successful candidate will understand safeguarding, complete required training, and participate in regular safeguarding updates.

Qualifications

• Previous experience of working with children preferably in an educational setting.
• Experience working as part of a team.
• Ability to make sound and logical judgments in decision making.
• Excellent interpersonal, organisational and communication skills.
• Ability to handle emotional and distressed situations with tact, sensitivity and diplomacy.
• Ability to stay calm and use a measured, informed approach in pressured situations.

Responsibilities

• Join the Attendance Team to support student attendance across the School.
• Carry out administration duties relating to attendance and student welfare.
• Support the management of the Student Services Centre and on-site First Aid and medication access.
