Job summary

University of Exeter Students' Guild is seeking a Student Activities Coordinator to empower student-led opportunities and volunteering. You’ll support over 300 societies, assisting recruitment, induction and recognition while ensuring safe, accessible activities.

Working with the Activities Team, you’ll help develop and champion a diverse range of interests, fostering belonging and development. The role is permanent, hybrid in Exeter, and offers a rewarding place to shape student life.

Qualifications

• Some experience volunteering or working with volunteers.
• Capable of seeking out new opportunities and inspiring new approaches.
• Know how to motivate, facilitate and guide others to enable their development.

Responsibilities

• Provide support in volunteer management for over 300 student-led societies, including recruitment, induction, training, reward and recognition.
• Ensure student group activity runs safely and support strategic development of the groups.
• Champion diverse range of student-led interests to enable development, participation and belonging.
