Job summary

SOCOTEC UK & Ireland is seeking a Structures Technician to join the Structures and Pavements division. You will undertake structural investigations on buildings, bridges, and car parks, and perform pavement investigations while upholding health, safety and quality standards.

As SOCOTEC grows, you’ll work with clients and subcontractors, calibrate equipment, and maintain our company profile while supporting a diverse range of projects nationwide in a flexible, office-based, remote, or hybrid

Qualifications

• Willing to comply with test procedures/standards, quality and health & safety requirements
• Ability to motivate self and team members to achievement of goals
• Reliable and diligent with a flexible approach to work

• Prepared to work weekends/nights and at times away from home

Responsibilities

• Carry out structural investigations on buildings, bridges, car parks
• Carry out pavement investigations including FWD, coring, trial pits and DCP’s
• Liaison with clients
• Effective communication with internal and external subcontractors
• Equipment calibration and maintenance
• Maintain company profile at all times
