Network Rail Scotland is seeking an Asset Engineer to join the Structures Engineering and Asset Management team in Glasgow. You will manage a varied asset portfolio, including bridges, tunnels and walls, ensuring safety and reliability for customers and communities.

Formación

• HNC/HND in Civil or Structural Engineering is required or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of structural engineering policies and standards.
• Experience in risk assessment and safety management systems.

Responsabilidades

• Evaluate and risk assess examination reports for a varied asset portfolio to ensure safety and performance.
• Determine and prioritise actions to address defects and risks in alignment with policies.
• Schedule examinations, inspections and monitoring of assets.
• Oversee development and handover of maintenance work items to realise outputs.
• Develop renewal requirements and ensure changes are agreed with Route Asset Manager.
• Assist with approval of designs and support detailed design certification.
