Job summary

Kroo Bank is seeking a proactive Compliance Officer to join our Compliance team. This broad generalist role supports retail banking obligations, provides day-to-day compliance advice, and reviews financial promotions to ensure FCA compliance.

You will monitor regulatory developments, support governance, and contribute to culture of strong compliance. Hybrid working with strong stakeholder collaboration across Marketing, Product, Risk and Legal.

Qualifications

• Experience in UK retail banking compliance and regulated FS.
• Ability to review financial promotions under FCA rules.
• Knowledge of FCA Handbook modules (PRIN, Consumer Duty, DISP, COBS).
• Strong advisory and regulatory monitoring capabilities.
• Effective stakeholder management and communication.
• Balance regulatory needs with commercial objectives.
• Excellent written, analytical and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day compliance advice across retail banking products.
• Review and approve financial promotions for FCA compliance.
• Monitor regulatory developments and support governance.
• Assist with regulatory change programmes and product governance.
• Support audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Deliver compliance training and raise awareness.
• Maintain relationships with Marketing, Product, Operations, Legal and Risk.
