Job summary

Redstone Commodity Search, London-based, seeks a professional to originate and develop structured commodity financing opportunities in metals, mining and freight across the EMEA region. You will work with trading houses, banks and funds to tailor bespoke financing solutions and build lasting client relationships.

The role provides exposure to diverse deals and reporting to the Head of Desk, with a focus on expanding our structured financing footprint in the metals, mining and freight sectors.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years’ experience in a structured commodity finance role in banking, trading house, utility, investment firm or fund.
• Industry knowledge in metals, mining, oil, gas and/or freight (coal, iron ore, metals concentrates, petcoke).
• Strong commercial skills with the ability to originate and develop new business and client relationships.
• Adaptability across different deals, structures and transactions.

Responsibilities

• Origination, client development and structured transactions for commodity financing opportunities.
• Provide working capital for trade opportunities.
• Work closely with the wider shipping business and existing clients to structure bespoke financing solutions.
• Utilize commercial skills and industry knowledge to onboard clients across the EMEA (metals, mining and freight).
• Take advantage of market trends and opportunities to increase business.
• Role reports into the Head of Desk.
