Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd is seeking a Structural Technician in Harrogate to join a growing consultancy. You will produce accurate structural drawings, work with engineers, and develop practical design solutions using CAD/BIM.

You will support projects from concept through to delivery and ensure standards and specifications are met. Ideal candidates will have structural detailing experience, familiarity with construction methods, and confidence using CAD or BIM software.

Qualifications

• Experience in structural detailing for construction projects.
• Proficiency with CAD or BIM software.
• Strong teamwork and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Producing accurate, high-quality structural drawings and detailed technical information.
• Working closely with structural engineers and other design team members.
• Using CAD and/or BIM software to develop practical, coordinated design solutions.
• Supporting projects from initial concept through to detailed design and delivery.
• Helping ensure designs meet relevant standards, specifications and project requirements.
