Job summary

Penguin Recruitment Ltd in Swansea is looking for a Senior Civil & Structural Technician to join a technical team delivering high‑quality CAD drawings for civil and structural projects, with a strong emphasis on reinforced concrete detailing. You will develop drawings and models, coordinating with engineers, project teams and clients to provide accurate design information.

The role requires extensive CAD experience across civil and structural schemes, plus knowledge of RC detailing and BIM

Qualifications

10+ years’ CAD experience within civil and/or structural engineering.
Experience on both civil and structural projects.
Strong experience in reinforced concrete detailing.
Experience with RC reinforcement detailing and scheduling.
Ability to produce accurate, detailed technical drawings and construction information.
Good understanding of engineering drawings, detailing standards and construction methods.
Ability to work independently while contributing within a project team.

Responsibilities

Produce and develop high-quality technical drawings and models across civil and structural projects.
Work closely with engineers, project teams and clients to deliver accurate design information.
Collaborate effectively within a wider project team to meet project deadlines.
