Job summary

Kinetic plc invites experienced Welders to join its established engineering and fabrication site in Greater Manchester. This permanent role offers a schedule of Monday to Friday, 6:00am to 2:00pm, with a pay rate of £19.32 per hour and potential overtime.

Ideal candidates will have welding experience in structural steel, the ability to read drawings and WPS, and a solid understanding of welding quality standards and safety practices. Commuting from surrounding areas is common in this role.

Qualifications

• Welding experience in structural steel or heavy engineering environments.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, WPS and fabrication documentation.
• Understanding of welding quality standards and dimensional tolerances.

Responsibilities

• Weld structural steel components to approved processes.
• Interpret drawings and fabrication documentation to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain safe working practices in a structural steel environment.
• Identify quality issues and take corrective action as needed.
