Job summary

AETHELRA CONSULTING PTE. LTD. seeks a Structural Steel Engineer to join our client's dynamic team. You will undertake detailed structural designs, prepare calculation reports and shop drawings, instruct drafters and check/amend fabrication drawings.

You will liaise with operation teams, clients, consultants and/or authorities on technical issues to ensure design intents are met. Residence only.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Civil and/ or Structural Engineering recognized by PE Board.
2 to 5 years' experience in steel structure design or related areas.
Proficiency with Tekla Tedds and Staad.Pro; willing to visit sites.

Responsibilities

Undertake detailed technical and structural designs, prepare calculation reports and shop drawings, instruct drafters and check/amend fabrication drawings.
Review and improve design and assumptions based on project requirements on competitive and economical approaches.
Liaise and coordinate with operation teams, clients, consultants and/or authorities on technical issues and to ensure design intents are met.
Provide technical engineering advice to comply with Singapore design standards, codes, specifications and authorities' regulations.
Propose value engineering, design improvement, optimization and innovation to improve operation efficiency and maximize construction profit.
Follow up with projects in charged closely, visit factory and site to provide technical advices and supports to operation team.
Other ad hoc job assigned by Technical Manager or the Company.
